We have a new updated program for our groups and activities that includes: occupational therapy groups by master’s level social workers, individual group time with psychosocial assessments, and a great array of activity departments to round out the program for a full line of services.
We also have educational groups by our nursing staff to better educate the patient and families on medications, and treatment process. We want you to receive the most out of your time with us.
The Sanctuary at the Woodlands is a freestanding psychiatric hospital and because of this, we must assure that all patients are medically stable for admission to the facility. Traditionally, most patients are cleared through a local emergency department or their primary care physician.
Referrals are accepted from many sources including:
family members, physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, community agencies, and clergy members.
